Together with my better half, South African singer/artist Tutu Puoane, I founded an independent record label in 2010. We called it SoulFactory Records, and its original purpose was for us to be able to own our own music, in a very rapid changing world where digital/online consumption has become the norm, and income streams from making music have changed course drastically. The label quickly grew into a platform for other (young) local Belgian musicians and projects, offering them an environment and support to release, promote and distribute their music .
